Oct. 9 in San Diego County’s Encinitas

This movie details the inspirational story of Harry deLeyer, a Dutch immigrant, and Snowman, an old plow horse Harry rescued for $80. The pair went on to win the Triple Crown of show jumping and set world records in the sport.

ATFL raises funds and distributes them to various TB charities. In this case, the event’s proceeds will go to three organizations: Hoofs and Woofs Animal Rescue, Saving Horses, Inc., and the Golden Carrot. The screening is sponsored by the Georgia B. Ridder Foundation.

Held at the La Paloma Theatre in Encinitas, the film will be shown at 1:30 and 4:30. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children. Extras abound: photo opportunities with Harry and Snowman, raffles, movie posters, giveaways, gift bags from Mane ‘N Tail, and wines from Pegasus Estate Winery available in the raffle.
