Fall Festival year-end show is right around the corner.

Mark your calendars, highlighting November 17-19, 2017, and plan to compete in the Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Association’s (IEHJA) “Fall Festival” Year End Horse Show. The show venue will once again be the beautiful Expo Center in the City of Industry. This three-day event is open to all riders, offers 21 competitive divisions, USHJA Outreach Medals, IEHJA Medal Finals, Hunter Derby at graduated heights and a separate day devoted to jumpers only! For IEHJA members this show counts for double points.

Fall Festival plans include a Friday night exhibitor “Meet and Greet” dinner. Provided by the IEHJA Board of Directors, this event is a fun way to socialize with barn mates and meet new friends.  Games, stall decorating and the hilarious “bouncy ball races” make this event a great way to kick off the horse show competition.

Other fun attractions include such classes as the Hunt Team Pairs, Costume Class and the very competitive IEHJA Showdown Perpetual Medal. As an added rider incentive, IEHJA offers a $200 Scholarship Award open to Junior and adult amateurs and a $200 award to the winner of the Hunter Derby. Existing IEHJA members and new members can also receive a $10 discount on their 2018 membership price.

A special trainer incentive provides a free tack room to the first 10 trainers reserving five or more stalls. Payment must be made at the time of reservation.

The “Fall Festival” is the final show in the 2017 IEHJA Show Calendar Year. The new show year starts in December at Willowbrook Equestrian Center in Desert Hot Springs. Check out our website www.iehja.info for a complete list of IEHJA sanctioned shows and activities. Also save Sunday, February 18, 2018 for the IEHJA Annual “Red Carpet” Awards Banquet at Santa Anita Race Track.
