Super fun night Oct. 18 at the launch party for the Adequan West Coast Dressage Festival. Organizer Scott Hayes, hospitality chief Jessica Mathews & Adequan’s West Coast wonder Deven Vespi kick off the festivities, held at Dr. Mark & Tiffany Silverman’s lovely home in Rancho Santa Fe. See our September issue for the full story on this new four-week CDI series. Hot news: the “Masterclass” presenters will be Monty Roberts & Boyd Martin, Laura Graves, Helen Langehanenberg and for the circuit’s finale: Charlotte Dujardin, giving special talks before each Saturday’s night’s Grand Prix Freestyle. Thanks to www.troydoney.com for the great photo!

Staff members at Equal-i-zer Hitch continue the Provo, UT company’s tradition of community service. They recently spent a day helping build homes with Self-Help Homes, a non-profit providing quality, affordable housing for first-time home buyers.

Homeless veterans from the San Jose area’s HomeFirst program enjoy a day with horses at Victory Ranch as part of the non-profit’s Veterans Ranch Visit Program. Victory Ranch is operated by Army veteran Doug Hutten and has hosted the Kids & Horses Education Program for 11 years. For more information, visit www.victoryranchinc.org.
