The Pink Wall: A Spring Fling Schooling Show contestant was one of many at the Paso Robles Horse Park to clear this special jump to help raise funds for cancer prevention and cure.

The fundraiser was sponsored by the Horse Park and wound up raising $2,100 for the cause. Every jumper class on Sunday featured the pink wall and competitors really got into the spirit of the event, reports the Park’s Amanda Diefenderfer. Photo: Hoof Print

Sonoma Horse Park

Ned and Hope Glynn’s Sonoma Valley Stables is sponsoring a new Grooms Initiative that will award cash prizes to these often-unsung heroes throughout the Sonoma Horse Park’s 2016 season. Grooms for the winners of all Hunter Derbies and Grands Prix will each win $250. “The grooms of these wonderful animals deserve to be recognized and rewarded,” says Ned. “Their work is essential.  A winning horse has a team behind it. We are proud to recognize this important part of the team.”

I had a great time in Hawaii with Steve’s family and now happy to be back at work. I am almost healed up from my lymphedema surgery and minor complication that had me in a special unaboot wrap for months. But luckily I am doing a lot better and able to get out to the horse shows and barns.
