Area VI Adult Rider Camp offers learning, fun and friendship July 31-Aug. 2.

August marks the fourth annual Area VI Southern Adult Rider Camp, and new and exciting changes are in the air. Camp this year is at a new location with new clinicians. Galway Downs in Temecula has opened their doors to us, and Hawley Bennett-Awad and Robyn Fisher have signed on to coach. The dates are July 31-Aug. 2.

 
July 2015 - New Sponsorship

New owners borrow from other industries to build on and expand an already strong brand.

When western saddle maker McCall Saddles wanted a model that weighed substantially less than the traditional 40-pound-plus average, they called on Mark Jolley and Logan Zhu. Mark’s title is president and Logan’s is CEO, but at heart, “We’re product guys,” says Mark. Using technologies from some of the many other industries they’re involved in, the duo designed a tree that made McCall’s new McLite line 15 pounds lighter than its traditional contemporaries, yet strong enough to withstand a truck driving over it – repeatedly.

July 2015 - Five Star Status

 

Sunshine Series Grand Prix in November gets top international status, and HITS Thermal awaits the same.

The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has given final approval for Week Two of the HITS National Sunshine Series as s CSI-5* event, featuring a $350,000 Sunshine Grand Prix CSI-5* on November 8 of this year. The show management company HITS is also awaiting approval of 5* status for one week of the HITS Desert Circuit in 2016 and a week of another of its circuits in Ocala, FL.

 

 
July 2015 - Horse Show Photo Directory

New website aims to ease process of finding photos.

HorseShowPhotoDirectory.com is a recently launched website that plans to list the official event photographers at horse shows throughout the United States. The ultimate goal is to have competitors easily locate the event photographer and their website information for each show they attend throughout the season. Horse Show Photo Directory has created a convenient and accessible website to benefit both the rider and photographer.
