More Perks in the Horsemastership Scholarship Program

Every year, the Los Angeles Hunter Jumper Association awards $5,000 in college scholarships to the three competitors with the highest overall score across the three phases  of its Horsemastership Scholarship Program. It consists of a written test, a hands-on stable management test, and a riding test. This competition is open to all junior members of LAHJA. Junior members of LAHJA who are interested in the Horsemastership Scholarship Program should sign up now and start studying—the written test must be completed by September 1.

This program utilizes the Level 2 test of the USHJA Horsemanship Quiz Challenge (HQC) for the Written Test. Eleven-and-under competitors in the LAHJA Horsemastership competition only have to take the USHJA Level 1 HQC. However, if they want to be considered for the Overall Award, they must take the Level 2 test as well. Take the test once, and you qualify for both the USHJA and the LAHJA programs!.

LAHJA is offering yet more incentives and awards with the LAHJA Horsemastership Scholarship.
