Equestrians model cool weather gear from Ariat.

Menlo’s Model Citizens: Top riders celebrate their successful and fun turn as models for fashion show featuring Ariat apparel during the Menlo Charity Horse Show in August. Held during the World Champion Hunter Rider awards dinner, the fashion show has been a staple of the Menlo social scene since Strideaway Farms founder Nancy Hey started it several years ago.

Brookway Stables chief Archie Cox is comfy for a day of coaching champions. His crew shirt, denim pants and flex boots are all in the Rebar line, topped with an Ariat Team vest.

Kristin Hardin & Bert Mutch are fierce jumper competitors in the arena, but on the runway, they’re all about fun. Kristin is wearing a Black Heritage Elite breech and a Lowell quarter- zip top, with an Ideal down vest and Windemere fur boots. Bert is also wearing the Heritage Elite breech and Ideal vest, with black mesh Fuse sneakers.

Willow Tree Farm coach and Grand Prix rider Guy Thomas goes casual in M5 Davis Atlantic jeans, Oldham print shirt and a Relentless All Around Full Quill Ostrich cowboy boots. Teal Orlin is ready for a night out with an Afton dress and Jackson cardigan.

John French and Karli Postel make the most of their runway time. Champion hunter rider John accents his outfit with Rodeo Red Fuse tennis shoes and a matching Ideal vest. Karli is at ease in Freja riding tights, a Laguna top, another Ideal down vest and a Fuse shoe.

Jamie Taylor is ready to ride for Lindsay Maxwell Equestrian with an Artico coat, Tri Factor breech, Skyway Hex showstopper shirt and Divino boots.

2008 Olympic individual silver medal eventer Gina Miles is ready for cool fall and winter riding with an Ideal down vest, a Terrace jacket and beanie. Ariat Skinny Jeans, a Gridworks quarter-zip top and Clara boot complete the ensemble.

Accomplished young amateur jumper rider Mackenzie Drazan put her real-world modeling experience to great use. She’s wearing a Tri Factor breech, Cambria Logo Crew top, Ideal down vest in the “jump” print and Vortex boot. A top contender in the Interactive Mortgage U25 Jumper Series, Mackenzie is now finishing her senior year at Duke University.

Erin Peterson vogues in her Ariat attire: Tri Factor breech, Sun Stopper quarter-zip top, Stampede belt and boat cruiser shoes.

Javier Abad of Elvenstar has the model strut down. He’s wearing Olympia breeches, a Platinum show coat, Marquis shirt and Heritage contour boots.

Elvenstar assistant trainer Lexi Shaw sports a Platinum show coat, Showstopper shirt with Tri Factor breeches. Elite Grip Gloves and Divinos boots finish the outfit.
