The California Professional Horsemen’s Association held its annual dinner honoring recipients of its special awards, people and horses. Filled with heartfelt acceptance speeches and presentations that reveal much about the sport’s past, present and future, the evening is a favorite in the hunter/jumper community. It was held this year in Las Vegas, Jan. 6, concurrent with the Pacific Coast Horse Shows Association meeting and year-end awards ceremony.
