Greys, greens, pinks and reds dominate the fashion arena heading into the spring and summer, all in fabrics meant to move and breathe and survive the washing machine!

Rebecca Hammerstein rides her Zweirbrucker Warmblood, Thriller, at Palos Verdes Stables under the tutelage of trainer Erin Isom. She was raised in Ojai, riding horses in the quiet mountains and showing as a young girl. Rebecca is now returning to the circuit in 2016 with Thermal.  As a life-long rider, Rebecca enjoys supporting the younger generation of sportswomen and the special connection she feels with their shared passion for the magic and power of the horse.  She applies her learning inside the ring to the outside world and takes life by the reins, sits up tall, is poised in the face of obstacles and is sure to enjoy the ride.

Kristyna Lukacova is 16 years old, owns three horses, leases another and competes in everything from jumpers to dressage. She trains with Rachel Goldsmith of Dreamscape Equestrian. “I am so blessed to be part of this wonderful sport and work with these beautiful, talented animals each and everyday,” she says.

17 year old Danielle Lean rides at Seahorse Riding Club with Devon Gibson. She’s currently competing in the 1.30 and 1.40 jumper divisions with the goal of making the Zone 10 NAJYRC team with “my amazing horse” Quantum Leap, a 15 year old Holsteiner gelding. Another goal is showing at the Longines Masters of Los Angeles. Having finished fourth place overall in USEF for 1.30 Junior Jumpers and second in the $15,000 1.40 Mini Prix at the Portuguese Bend National Horse Show, Danielle seems well on her way to both goals.

Brooke Dean, of Palos Verdes Estates, started riding all disciplines at the age of 5 and began focusing on hunter/jumpers about four years ago.
She rides with Alden Giacopuzzi and Erin Isom, who helped her attain terrific finishes. A Flintridge first place in the .65M jumpers, with her “best friend” Lennox Everlasting last September, was one of several show ring highlights last year.
