Anti-oxidant compound has powerfully positive effect.

While back east at the Washington International Horse Show in 2013, Jim Hagman of Elvenstar picked up and studied the literature on Resvantage Equine, a resveratrol feed supplement. Jim’s super star equitation horse Vancouver was on a permanent lay-up and Jim was even worried that his beloved horse might need to be put down because of a career ending injury that resulted in a lesion on his fetlock that wasn’t getting better with all the traditional therapies. He talked at length with Peter Brandt, owner and founder of Resvantage and decided that the science behind it was worth giving it a try if it would help the then 8-year-old Vancouver feel better and be able to be turned out to pasture.

Peter encouraged Jim to give his supplement a try and Jim had his team give Vancouver Resvantage Equine twice a day. Vancouver started on it in November of 2013. By mid-March, Jim’s head groom Abel Avila asked Jim if he wanted to see him trot. Jim was stunned and amazed at Vancouver’s even gait. Dr. Charlie Boles re-x-rayed the horse and told Jim that he saw no reason not to put Vancouver back to work.

Slowly they started Vancouver back and soon he was jumping weekly. With his constant improvement Jim decided to ship him to the Showpark Summer Classic last August. After 17 months away from the show ring, Kayla Lott showed Vancouver in the Friday practice class and placed second. She went on to finish second out 31 in the CPHA Foundation Finals. A month later they went on to the Portuguese Bend show for the PCHA Horsemanship Finals and they ended up winning it.

Jim is convinced that the Resvantage Equine saved his horse’s life and put him back in the show ring and bringing home the top ribbons. Jim takes the human version and after a year his doctor was very impressed with his big drop in cholesterol numbers and blood pressure. You can bet Jim and Vancouver will be life long users.

Resveratrol is one of a group of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols found in numerous plants that has anti-inflammatory, cardiovascular protective and cancer chemopreventive properties. It helps support the immune system and has been shown to curb insulin resistance. A powerful antioxidant, resveratrol provides protection from the damaging effects of free radicals and inflammatory chronic health problems.
