Equestrian Wear with Flair

Frank Gordon has been manufacturing clothing for 40 years, and has focused on the equestrian market the last six years with his company Cool Medics. Frank recently created a new line of clothing, called Rivet Equestrian, when he noticed a lack of riding wear that people would feel equally comfortable wearing to the supermarket.
Calling his clothing line "equestrian wear with flair," Frank had the idea of creating garments that could be worn at the barn and in town without the rider feeling bad that they are wearing horsey wear. The Rivet Equestrian line features chenille knitwear, leather, suede, and soft cotton clothing.

The website is presented in four sections; jackets, vests, knitted and fleece tops, and accessories. Rivet Equestrian offers 12 styles of jackets, ranging from wool to denim to suede and featuring one-of-a-kind denim jackets made from preworn jeans and accented with handout leather pieces. "We can make two of the same jacket and they'll look different," Frank says. There's something for each person, including classics like a pea coat and a canvas jacket to denim jackets with a distinctly western flair and a luxurious suede shirt jacket. There are also two styles of vests.
The knitted and fleece tops include crew neck sweaters, a chenille hooded sweater, and several short and long sleeved shirts made of pigment dyed 100 percent combed cotton that is soft washed for a lived-in look and softness. "These are perfect for both casual wear and dressier occasions," says Frank. "Our pigment dyed shirts have soft natural colors that are reflective of soft living."
Rivet Equestrian accessories feature a messenger bag cut from sumptuous mahogany toned distressed leather, a fully lined cowhide suede laptop bag with a finished leather flap, and two styles of distressed canvas and leather bags. In this section of the website, customers will also find a warm chenille scarf and a Rivet baseball cap with a zippered pocket useful for keeping keys or other small valuables while at the barn.
