Beautiful Santa Anita Park hosted IEHJA’s annual awards banquet on February 20, 2021. The event, which was canceled last year due to Covid restrictions, drew a record number of members, family, and friends to celebrate IEHJA’s Medal winners, division champions and reserves, and ribbon winners.
Hi point trainers were also honored and IEHJA’s many sponsors were recognized. Especially notable was Dover Saddlery which donated the championship awarded bridles, Hygain which not only sponsored the “stick horse shenanigan” class at the year end show but also donated a products basket for the silent auction. Financial supporters included Caston Inc, Big Time Design and Cindy Hancock with Absolute Equine Therapy. Gift, product, and supplies as well as gift certificates were provided by Tractor Supply, Inland Vet Supply, Thrifty Horse, Kahoots, Farnam, Brax Snax, Rancho del Rio equestrian center, Vetericyn and Mane Tresses. IEHJA also wants to thank the USHJA Outreach Program and California Riding Magazine for their continued support.
