Hilltop Welcomes New Homebred to the Stallion Line-Up

The Hilltop Farm stallion line-up offers breeders a large stallion line-up comprised of both Hilltop-owned stallions, international stallions, and Guest Stallions, allowing us to provide the diversity needed to complement the needs of many different breeders and mares in North America. Every year breeders are anxiously awaiting the announcement of new stallions to the roster. For the 2024 season, we are especially excited to introduce the young stallion and Hilltop Farm homebred Game On HTF (Glamourdale-Qredit). This 4-year old stallion represents some of the top sires that have been represented through Hilltop since it’s initiation. Sire Glamourdale, owned by Van Olst Horses, has been in our international stallion program since he was first available and we have thrilled in his rise from licensing champion, to Young Horse World Champion, to being the 2022 Gold Medalist at the World Equestrian Games under Lottie Fry. Glamourdale’s pedigree is backed with proven producers for the FEI levels, who have also been represented through Hilltop over the years.

Game On’s damsire, Qredit, is one of the most accomplished stallions in North America and has lived at Hilltop almost his entire life. Qredit rose from early success in the Dressage Sporthorse Breeding classes, to the FEI Young Horse classes, to winning at CDI competitions including our favorite – Dressage at Devon. The longtime Hilltop stallions Royal Prince and Parabol, also successful FEI horses, further anchor Game On’s exceptional pedigree and further link him to Hilltop’s history. Hilltop Farm’s General Manager, Natalie DiBerardinis, shares “As breeders we think in generations and Game On represents many generations of carefully selected Hilltop breeding. He has the same confidence as his grandsire Qredit and we joke that his love of naps came from his great-grandsire Royal Prince. It’s a special feeling when you can track those little traits back to generations of the horses we’ve known and loved.”

It’s not only four generations of Hilltop stallions that his pedigree represents, but also four generations of Hilltop mares. Game On’s dam is a Premium (formerly known as Elite) Hanoverian mare that easily qualified for the US Dressage Finals in her first year showing. Her dam was also an Elite Mare and was an exceptionally versatile producer with offspring competing in dressage, hunters, and eventing. The granddam also highlighted that versatility in her own sport record and produced an approved stallion.

We’ve held high hopes for the handsome Game On from the very start. As a foal, he was named Top Colt of his AHS Inspection and a Gold Medal Foal. As a yearling, he tied as the top Yearling in the country with the AHS Futurity and had an outstanding Dressage at Devon finishing 2nd in the Yearling Colts & Geldings and 3rd in the Colts & Gelding Championship. As a three-year-old, Game On was presented to ISR/Oldenburg and earned his provisional stallion license with an impressive score of 225.5 points. Highlights an 8 for his walk and an 8.5 for his canter. Game On is still young and has a lot of growth and development to come, so we have held off presenting to additional registries and showing until the start of the 2024 show season. Hilltop Farm’s Head Trainer and Game On’s rider shares “I’m seeing a lot of talent in this young homebred of ours. He still has some growing to do, so I’ve not rushed him, but I can already feel a future FEI horse in him.” In the barn, Game On consistently shows his outgoing, happy personality and enjoys getting to just be horse. Hilltop Farm’s Training Barn Manager, Jennifer Callahan, shares “He’s always excited to go to turnout and can’t wait to enjoy a roll in the mud. In his stall, he loves snuggles and attention.”

Game On will be available via cooled semen from April 10th to August 4th, 2024. For additional information on Game On visit www.hilltopfarminc.com or call 410-658-9898.
