Bel Regazzo is one of a kind and we are absolutely thrilled with his success in the show ring! As an Amateur Adult rider, I am always learning so I don’t always get it right, but Bel Regazzo (aka “Super Mario”) has an amazing ability to disguise my imperfections! His jumping style is perfectly consistent…knees up, exceptional expression with ears forward (and of course, the most kissable nose on the planet!). We are so incredibly proud of our magnificent “Mario”…he makes MY “job” look easy!
Mario has an interesting temperament and we love it!! He makes me laugh every single day…whether it’s his signature “side-eye” or his solid belief that he is, in fact, the king of the show ring. Whatever the case, when we walk into that ring, Mario is ALL business and FULL of confidence…he knows his job and does that job exceptionally well. I LOVE that we are always “on the same page” and are able to complement each other’s energy in the show ring!
In between shows, when we are at home practicing, exercising and training, Mario makes it no secret that he is rather unimpressed and, frankly, quite bored with our necessary, and sometimes monotonous, “flat work,” especially when you’re a 17h Warmblood who loves to show off! Practice makes perfect, my dear Mario! Then, when it comes time to JUMP…he’s ALL in and ready to work! He is truly a shining star in the show ring! And, when it’s time to “turn down the heat,” nothing is better than a relaxing trail ride to take it all in!
We love him so very much and couldn’t ask for a better horse. Mario is full of personality, very safe, and loves to win! We have included some of the junior riders in the photo collage who have seen some amazing success on our superstar!
I’m extremely grateful to ride such a beautiful and accomplished horse like our Super Mario. We “click” perfectly! We work hard, we play hard and we enjoy each other with every ride, at every show or with just a handful of carrots and a kiss on his super soft nose!
Although I love everything about our Super Mario, my favorite traits are his hilarious personality, his winning attitude and his unfailing dedication to looking good while he shows his best! Boom!
We’d like to extend a very special “thank you” to Brookway Stables and Archie Cox for giving Mario so many opportunities, and to Karlie Postel, our fabulous trainer, who loves Mario as much as we do. I especially want to thank my “at home” trainer, Tracy Burroughs, for our outstanding lessons and for just simply taking such good care of us! We love and appreciate all of you!
Also, we’d like to give a very special “shout out” to Ashley Andersen, our super talented photographer and very special friend. She loves Super Mario, rides him beautifully, and is always there for support and encouragement.
Finally, we would like to congratulate Mario’s Junior Riders who have been such a pleasure to watch compete and win….AND THEN, WIN AGAIN!!
