Fiesta Charity Horse Show and Spectacular, Southern California's Premier Family-Oriented Equestrian Event, to Run Mother's Day Weekend

The Fiesta Charity Horse Show and Spectacular, produced by the non-profit Fiesta of the Spanish Horse, will return to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center May 6 through May 10, 2015.

One of Southern California's largest horse shows, this year's event will benefit Kure It Cancer Research, Project Hollywood Cares, and the Wounded Warrior Project. New Partners This Year are Kure It Cancer Research, Project Hollywood Cares, and Wounded Warrior Project.

The popular family-oriented event, especially suited for Mother's Day celebrations, includes magnificent horses, a multi-breed horse show competition, and a charity benefit on Saturday with music, food, dancing, vendors and more. The Fiesta Charity Spectacular features an action-packed evening of unique equine exhibitions, music, and dance entertainment. The five-day show brings together rare and magnificent horses of Spanish origin from across the country, creating an equine event unlike any other in the equestrian show world.

The exhibitions, performance acts and celebrities slated for the Saturday Spectacular are a thrilling, seldom-seen display of equestrian entertainment for spectators of all ages. The festivities will include the perennial crowd favorite Traveler, USC’s famous white Andalusian mascot who has made a special appearance every year since the show's inception, and graciously poses with scores of attendees for up-close interaction and photos.

Horse show competitions begin Wednesday, May 6. Horse show competitions will include Andalusian, Lusitano, Friesian, Saddlebred, Plantation Walking Horses, Peruvian Paso, Paso Fino, Western Dressage, Working Equitation, and many other horse breeds and equine disciplines. All show competitions are open to the public free of charge.
