Eventing accomplishments celebrated.

Members of US Eventing’s Area VI celebrated 2019’s accomplishments Feb. 16 in Fresno. The annual awards banquet was held concurrent with the Fresno County Horse Park’s CCI and Horse Trials. So sorry we didn’t get a picture of one of Area VI’s most important award recipients: Volunteer of the Year Alexius Carbajal.

Thank you Marcus Greene Outdoor Photography for the photos!

Owner of the Year: Ruth Bley. As an owner and a competitor, Ruth is a bright light on the West Coast. She’s pictured competing with Rodrigue du Granit and with Area VI chairman Lisa Sabo in Fresno. The super star equines she owns for others include Area VI Overall Horse of the Year En Vogue & Danito, both campaigned by Tamie Smith.
