Raven is a beautiful black quarter horse mare up for adoption from FalconRidge Equine Rescue in Valley Center.

Healthy and sound, Raven stands 14.3 hands high and was recently evaluated under saddle. Raven was found to be very well trained to ride.

She is a little rusty, but this girl stood still for saddling, mounting, dropped her head for bridling, she neck reins, moves off your leg, has some spunk to her.

Raven is  20 yrs young, seems much younger, and has the most smoothest trot ever! We are looking for at least an intermediate rider with experience to adopt her and a loving, committed home for life.

Raven’s adoption fee is only $500 through FalconRidge Equine Rescue, Contact Nicki Branch at 760-742-0285 to see Raven.

It was great to have the Reem Acra FEI Dressage World Cup and Longines Show Jumping World Cup Finals back in Las Vegas! Seeing top level international riders in our backyard was amazing to watch up close and in person. We hope you enjoy our report from young show jumper Sydney Callaway. The heartbreak of Steffen Peters’ elimination after his dressage freestyle was hard for his team and fans, but handled by Steffen with extreme grace. The World Cup goes back to Sweden next year and in 2017 will be hosted in Omaha, NE.

We hope you enjoy this issue featuring Barns and Spanish Breeds, and a profile on Paso Robles, where the Central California Classic hunter/jumper show and the Paso Robles Horse Park debuts Memorial Day weekend. For June, we’ll feature Hunter/Jumpers and Real Estate and we’ll be handing out extra copies at Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento - we hope to see you there!

Be sure to send us your story ideas and we hope to see you out at the next show.

Happy Riding!
