Shayna Simon To Arroyo Del Mar

Young dressage trainer Shayna Simon relocates to Steffen and Shannon Peters’ Arroyo De Mar Stables in Del Mar, where she has room for a few more horses and riders. Shayna spent several years developing young Lusitanos for Brookside Equestrian Center in Walnut, and most recently based her training business at Oakridge Farm, in San Diego County. She was “sad to leave” but looks forward to furthering her dressage knowledge by working alongside Steffen, an Olympian, and highly accomplished Shannon, as well as the rest of Team Peters.

Shayna can be reached at Shayna Simon Dressage on Facebook.

Kari Farley Earns More Credentials

Circle Oak Equine in Petaluma congratulates Kari Farley, its rehabilitation and facilities manager, for earning her Certificate in Equine Rehabilitation, awarded by the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Science. The mission of the program is to promote the art and science of equine rehabilitation, to promote and support research that will advance the knowledge, skill and treatment of equine rehabilitation and to make the benefits of equine rehabilitation known to the veterinary-related professions.

“One of Circle Oak Equine’s founding beliefs is that professional rehabilitation produces superior, long-lasting results,” says a statement from the sports medicine and rehab facility. “Kari’s commitment to her profession and her dedication to the horses under her care are a big part of why Circle Oak’s rehabilitation programs are successful. We all congratulate her on her achievement and are proud to have her as a key member of our team!”
